Clos Saint-Denis

Absolutely Captivating
Founded in 1990, Clos Saint-Denis began as an ambitious retirement project for deceased former minister Guy Tardif and his partner Ghyslaine Meunier. Purchased by Maison des Futailles in 2004, the Clos Saint-Denis, with its orchard and vineyard, has maintained its traditional processes, from production to bottling.

Ice cider is obtained by fermenting the juice of pressed apples, which cold winter temperatures help concentrate. Once the naturally occurring sugars reach just the right level, we are ready to produce Pomme de Glace, our outstanding ice cider.

Pomme de Glace Original ®
Four apple varieties grown at Clos Saint-Denis are assembled to make this ice cider: McIntosh, Spartan, Cortland and Royal Gala. The fruit is carefully selected for its balanced level of sweetness and acidity. A festive and flamboyant cider, it reveals aromas of baked apple, pastry and honey. On the mouth, its unctuous texture culminates with a persistent finish.

Fine Pomme de Glace
Made with Pomme de Glace Original ®, Fine Pomme de Glace is aged for 12 months in American oak barrels. With its exceptional refinement and taste, this cider is intended to pay homage to our heartland and to the craftsmanship of our artisans.

Serve chilled, as an aperitif or a digestif. It is also the perfect accompaniment to foie gras and desserts made with fruit, almonds, dark chocolate or nougat. We also recommend serving it with aged hard cheeses.
